Jesus is Nailed to the Cross – The Angel of Death appears here as an anger-filled teen with wings of automatic rifles. The act of corporal punishment has changed in our society. Lethal injection seemed too sterile to represent the gruesome way Jesus died. By contrast, the way in which a desperate person can take justice into their own hands feels appropriate.
