Jesus Meets His Mother – Mary diminishes herself in front of her son. She is simultaneously a grief-stricken mother, and an obedient follower of the Christ. In her humble way, she understands and does not interfere with God’s plan as it plays out. She is the first to openly wear the pink color about her head, signifying hope for the future.
